AFROSCREEN regional symposium: a genomic surveillance network for emerging pathogens
The AFROSCREEN symposium will take place from May 29 to 30, 2024 in Dakar, Senegal
The AFROSCREEN symposium, that we are organizing in partnership with Africa CDC, will bring together our partners and representatives of the Africa PGI, the WHO, the health authorities of the concerned countries and international funding bodies. This international event will provide an opportunity to take stock of the scientific and technical advances made since the start of the AFROSCREEN project, and to draw up a strategy for sustaining genomic surveillance activities in order to meet the new scientific and health challenges posed by emerging pathogens in West and Central Africa.
